I must have been a really good girl this year. Santa Claus came to my house early. He knows just what we want. So don't ever quit believing in Santa Claus.
The week of Thanksgiving was a busy week. We had Logan, Bella and Justin the first of the week. Logan’s Dad came and got him on Tuesday but not before he got to help put up the Christmas Tree. Then on Wednesday after I got off work we loaded up and went to Phillip’s.

Bella and Justin had to show us how they play their instruments after we arrived at Phillip’s Wednesday night. Justin was using harmonica and Bella was using a juice harp. Pretty Cool.

Thanksgiving Day was also Bella’s 7th birthday. So us and her parents gave her the presents we had for her that day.

Aunt Crystal came and boy was Justin happy. They are a lot alike. Of course they have the same birthday so it figures.

Phillip smoked the turkey just right. Dinner was delicious and of course we ate too much.

Saturday, Bella had a birthday party at the bowling alley. It was lots of fun for kids and grownups. Some of the grownups bowled (me included). It was lots of fun laughing at all our low scores. Even Justin got to bowl.

Crystal and I went shopping on Black Friday. Then we met Mae for lunch after she got off work. It was a busy visit but we sure did enjoy it. CAN’T WAIT TIL CHRISTMAS WHEN THEY ALL COME HOME!!!!

Saturday night we were invited to James and Cathy's A. place. They have a beautiful place in the country. There were several couples from the papermill there as well as 2 retirees, Frank and Tommy E.

Everyone helped setup.

The guys all gathered wood for a bonfire. James has a new name, James Bunyon.

I got a really good picture of the papermill crew.

Frank and Bruce S. did a lot of kidding around.

James with a little help from Tommy W. and Bruce S. got the grill going for a delicious supper.

While we were waiting on supper, we enjoyed visiting with each other.

Cathy S. and Debbie W.

James A. And Tommy W.

Chris L. and Tommy E.

Cathy A., Cathy S. and Debbie W.

Bruce and Cathy S.

We even got someone to take a picture of us. ( See I was there.)

We enjoyed the bonfire until it was dark.

Thanks to James and Cathy A. having all of us over. It was lots of fun and great to fellowship with everyone. We look forward to getting together again some time.

We decided middle of the week to take a trip in our 5th wheel all by ourselves. This is the first time we have taken a trip by ourselves. I took off Friday so we had a long weekend. It was really great!
We had an uneventful trip. Made it to the camp and got everything setup.

After getting setup, we went to the outlet mall. I wanted to find some pants. Grandpa had other ideas.
We got back to camp Friday and now have neighbors. All the camp sites are great and have full hookups.
Saturday we went to Trade Days in Ripley, MS. It is also know as First Monday. That place was a kick. Right out of the old time days. Unfortunately I forgot my camera. People had everything for sell there from dogs, goats, chickens to homemade jellys and breads. And of course some stuff from China and other junk places.I spent a whole 5 dollars. Grandpa had spent all his money riding the elephant and couldn't buy anything at the flea market. Then we drove from Ripley to Tupelo across northern MS. The leaves are changing and the landscape was beautiful. We even saw gas for 1.989 in Ripley. Coming back into the park the sunset on the lake was nice.
Grandpa never seems happy with how the setup is. So he proceeds to fix it. We will get better at this in time, I hope. I went on to build a fire and of course scratch my arm with the wood. But it was ok. Just a little Blood.
Grandpa had a long day and plum tuckered out.
Got back home Sunday afternoon. Trailer parked and stuff put away. We really enjoy ourselves and looking forward to our next trip.

So, we decided to attend an all grown up halloween party at the eagles of all places. Phillip and I dressed up as pirates, our friends Shawn and Marsha went as a US soldier and a Geisha, Crystal and her date went as a Plug and Socket lol, I can't believe crystal put the outfit on but i have evidence now hahaha.
We danced the night away and had a great. Phillip and I even won 2nd place for the best looking halloween costume. Here is a group picture of the band with their spouses, it showed that we weren't the only crazy people that dressed up for the occasion. I was tempted to add more crazy pics but i think i will get lots of people in trouble hahaha.
Happy Halloween everyone!

Columbus Day weekend we went to visit the kids. Got to Crystal's Friday afternoon and watch Logan practice football. He runs really fast. Then Saturday we went to Phillip's. Bella had 2 soccer games. We went to both and Crystal and Logan came for the 2nd one. Afterward, we had a really good smoke pork roast Phillip fixed and went to the Craig Morgan concert in downtown Texarkana. It was lots of fun. Sunday we played with kids and watched Phillip clean up the yard some then went back to Crystal's house. Monday I cam home and Grandpa stayed to keep Logan while Crystal was out of town. WE HAD LOTS OF FUN.

We had some dozer work done and man does it look GOOD! Gone is the old barn and the tree at the corner of the carport.

Frank, Tommy and I went to visit my Daddy in Spanish Fort AL.

On Sept 7
th, me and Grandpa met Crystal, Logan, Jackie and Lori at the
Ameristar Casino for a concert. It was a free concert given by
Ameristar and the entertainer was
Trace Atkins. It was hot that afternoon. This was Logan's 1st concert. I really enjoyed the music and watching everyone have a good time.

Friday night we went to Applebee's in Clinton for supper with friends of ours. Nothing better than good friends and good food.

Labor Day weekend we got to spend with the kids. I watched Logan play soccer while Grandpa went to help Phillip and Mae install hardwood flooring. Then Crystal, Logan and I went to Phillip's. Crystal helped them put down the floor and I played with the kids. It was lots of fun and they all did a great job on the floor. LOOKS GREAT!

Frank, Tom (my brother) and I went to Aunt Thelma's (89) and Uncle Delma's (88) for lunch on August 16th. We both brought food and had a very good visit. I took this picture of the 2 of them after lunch. My cousin Sherry and her husband Tom also came. We had a real good visit.

Bella was excited to go back to school after 12 loooong weeks of summer vacation. Justin willingly walked his big sister into her classroom. We made sure she knew where her desk was and kissed and hugged her goodbye and left her with her teacher and to chit chat with her friends and classmates.
She is in the so called venture class where they get to do more extra stuff than the regular first graders and it is more advance, she has done well last year in kindergarten so we are hoping she will again this year.
Phillip and I just couldn't believe that our little girl is already in first grade, it seemed like yesterday that we were bringing her home in the midst of winter in germany and now she is off making her own destiny.

Friday we picked 4 buckets of peas. This was the first time my brother, Tom, who is now living with us, ever picked peas. It was about 93 degrees outside, so it was a little warm. After picking the peas we of course had to shell them. He was so funny. Tom stayed right there with us shelling peas until midnight but he wouldn't eat any today. He said he never wants to eat peas again. That will change when winter gets here but it sure was funny.

We had very busy and great summer. 5 of our grandkids got to come visit this year at the same time. I took 2 weeks off work and just played Grandma. It ws lots of fun. Justin is on top of Brooke, then Colton, Bella and Logan. It was so much fun having them all at one time.
Frank and I joined the world of blogging. We will have all the happenings from Raccoon Ridge in Yazoo City, MS. Check it out as we progress.
