I'm writting this with an understanding that learning disabilities might be effected by somebody whom you might have know had a seizure. I'm writting this with an understanding that learning disabilities might be effected by somebody whom you might have know had a seizure. In my own case this might have been the case for me. My learning disabilities might have been related in having a seizure when I was just a toddler early 1970's about 5 years old or under and had fallen off my parents bed and on to a Concrete floor. Then in the early 1990's I had another seizure I had hit my head on a Concrete floor like when I was younger. It was surpizing how many years that I had without any problem. Maybe hitting my head on a concreate floor was bad for me. Anyway I was clear of any Indication of having anymore by my doctor in around 1997. But there is so much information out there with just a simple google search the relationship between the two and the effects that one person might have as a result of having them. Even though I had these two seizures I was able to contuine with my sports which can be seen within this sports blog of mine., I find of intrest of Signal Detection Theory that W. W. Peterson, T. G. Birdsall, and W. C. Fox work on and then also J.C.R. Licklider who I mention in a part of my blog that talks about brain interprets. If we can understand what and if the brain has become damaged do a seizure and the difficulties that this can bring to a person such as learning process might be more difficult ., As for me I have had to learn different ways of learning and memory skills., I decided it was time to do a thank you to my mother who has been with me for most of all my sports events etc and still to this date drives over to give me a little bit of her home cooking., She is the Inspiration of trying to help others and me trying to learn a little about the medical field. As she was an RN in University of Michigan Hospital. Photo taken in 1994 At Ironman Distance Triathlon at Martha's Vineyard. Thank You Mom

Are you looking for a Athletic Fit Model in Fairfield County Westchester County ? CT and NY Conn and New York, Then Please email at nsawa8uns@gmail.com I have many years of Experince in this with Art schools such as Silvermine Guild Art Center, WCSU college, and Katonah Art Center to name a few Thanks Hello, I have added this from my WA8UNS Personal Page is I think there is a space for this as when it comes to sports as well, I can remember is a kid that I had spent many times on the bench keeping it warm then really getting in the game becuase I wasn't as good as the others on my team., Being on a team should mean that every team member nor matters how good or how bad should get the same amount of time as the next person., The goal of the team is to work together and not just wanting to win the game. I need to share the importance of sense of belonging in familiy gatherings and also at the work place and in any clubs or Volunteer Service a person with disabilities or anyone. We all want to have the need that we to are just as important as the other person is or other fellow., When the familiy gets together make sure that the conversation changes to what others at the table also have intrest in as well., And not just talk about one subject most of the time that all might not have any intrest in or know anything about. But also in volunteer services in which I myself have been in for many years, Let say if the person is unable to pass a test that might be a requirment to do certian things in some areas see if the person is still able to belong to the section or area before saying well we need to put you somewhere else because of failed or didn't pass this exam or test., He or she might have joined that volunteer service with a freind and to break them up might not go well., And in the work place a person might not feel like he just as important as the next person so it's important to look for signs that a person might just need a little extra Appreciation. Or just talk to the person and see what is up. They'll be glad that they have somebody that is there for them or to listen.,In life we all need love and compassion is understanding and always like to be heard and feel as if people are listening. I personally think that Josh Groban Don't Give Up, You Are Loved song really hits right on the spot,as I would really like to thank him for such a wonderful song in which alot of go through when life seems to be tough on us., Another great on by Josh Groban You Raise me up These are stories of father and son working together both Rick and Dick Hoyt, Working together no matter what the disabilities are, And a father that never gave up on his son. These stories also bring in the Sense of Belonging as well., Never give up on your son or daughter. Try to be there for them. My personal Battle with depression as well has a Contection with my learning disabilites that I have had since birth., We all need to understand that a person with learning disabilites might also be fighting with depression as well., Please look for signs of this and try to help out. I'm also very thankful that the University of Michigan School of Nursing did a wonderful article on this subject with the title Sense of Belonging as a Buffer Against Depressive Symptoms Though I don't use or have to use and medication for my depression I use and look for sense of belonging in all my activites that I do and or a member of. By joining a Rec Center to work out your being with people that you can associate with. If your intrest also included Ham Radio or Amateur Radio think about joining your local club. If your into sports such as myself see if your area has a running team or running club cycling team or club or join a swim team as these are Examples of things which in the past have helped me., More on this subject to come
I began swimming and bicycling and running at a very young age. I swam competively as a young boy in Miami in the 1970's with the SWSC Sheeler Winton Swim Club which was tough and hard made made an impression on me to be hard on myself. I began doing 62.5 mile bike tours when I was 14 fourteen, then went onto running my first marathon at age 16 sixteen and also began bike racing in 1986 with the well known french amateur bike racing team call ACBB Athletic Club de Boulogne Billencourt Cyclisme. When I return back to the United States with the familiy in 1986 I had coutined to bike race for awhile then in 1988 I started doing Triathlons. And had enjoyed doing the old United States Triathlon Series (USTS) and in the early 1990's tried a few Ironman distance Triathlons ( 2.4 mile swim 112 mile bike 26.2 mile run ) tried 4 of these but only finished two of them so 2 out 4 not to bad,I sadly ended my sport of triathlon around 1995 or so as I was running into personal problems that also came to dealing with my learning disabilities and having to live and cope with them and try to live a productive life with them. So I have had to give up owning a bike or bicycle. I still run and try and do as many running events as I can afford. I still swim and work out exercise at a local Recreation Center to where I live in Danbury, CT I try and help others out where I can with my great past experience. Thomas works part-time as needed at The Silvermine Guild of Artists in New Canaan, CT as a model., if you or anybody else you know that might need a Athletic Fit model please email me at nsawa8uns@gmail.comLooking in New York, CT Area Going to United Bicycle Institute was fun but also a challenge for both basic and advance bike mechanics, When it came to compute the math for wheel building etc as where it came very hard for me to do and understand as a person with Learning Disabilities I went on to try and work for two bike shops but ended shortly as I was told I was to slow in building the bikes and took to much time to build them, So as of now my education of bike mechanics, So it ended around 1996 or 1997 when be the last time in that field., This was my 2nd and last Ironman distance triathlion in which I had finished,
