My friend, Nancy Birch, Roadrunner Tours, Angel Fire, NM, brought Aussie, (the dog that had all the pups)back to visit. We still had Oliver, that they used in the Kingman Parade, sitting in the rocker. Will, do you remember taking him to school for show & tell & on the bus?
These are Heath & Dana Weninger's kids - Mattie, AJ & Valerie
Valerie didn't like the scary cat - it howels & hisses!!!
This is Bobby & Buster, Art & Alan's project. They are 8 years old & very gentle. They love to be fed & like to lay in the sun all day.
Alan & Art have purchased two longhorns - this is Bobby & belongs to Art. A picture of Buster will follow. They are elegant!
This clematis is so pretty but not as hardy. It didn't have the growth but had a few beautiful blossoms - maybe next year.
This is a very hardy plant & provided lovely blossoms.
Work days at the Riggs Arboretum, Waterloo, KS were Sept. 19 & 20, 2008. Art took his tractor and helped spread wood chips on the trails. The Walk in the Woods for 5th graders from local schools was held Sept. 25& 26. The KS Forestry Service provided a saw mill demo & lectures on the vast variety of trees to 240 children.
This quilt took the attached ribbons at the Kingman Co Fair in July, 2008
A great day with the family.

Mia is enjoying the hammock on this cool Sunday afternoon. The new siding is looking great. Tim is doing a good job! Sunday afternoon we visited the Richmonds - Carmen is growing & doing so many new things. After 3/4 inches of rain, the soybeans look great Art took 30 head of cattle to the Hutchinson Sale on Tuesday. The brown steer on the left weighrd 1025 lbs.
