BBQ at Pantai Muara 3 Jan 2009, 6:58 am

Today we had lots of fun BBQ at Pantai Muara.. Most of the ex-PTEB members joined the BBQ today.. Actually the idea came 2 week before, and thank you to those who support the plan and make it happen.. It was raining heavily early in the morning, so we delayed the BBQ instead of 8 am we changed to 9 am.. But the weather was pretty good just now after the rain, not too cold not too hot..

Since there were lots of picture arah camera ku ani (berabis banar begambar tadi tu), so I just squeeze in most of the pictures.. Nanti lagi ku masukkan di facebook, dapat jua ku tagged.. Ok, enjoy the pictures..

This was went we just arrived at Muara Beach.. Survey2 tampat, and we choose the place which was near to the beach soccer field.. Yang paling awal datang tadi was si Sufi, yang baca surat kabar a, bagus, first comer ada hadiah ni, haha..

Sementara kami menunggu si Nadi datang, begambar kami puas2 eh.. haha.. Si Nadi nyawa ni pasal ia membawa BBQ stand, mun nada si Nadi, nada BBQ ni.. haha.. TQ Nadi..

As the BBQ stand arrive, kami pasang la, payah jua memasang, pasal nada screw driver.. Las2 pakai coins memulas screw nya tu.. haha..

Afte that panaskan arang lagi, payah jua eh.. Tapi with all the teamwork, akhirnya terhasil jua bara dari arang atu, thank you to si Ros & Syukri yang paling active memanas kan arang a, tapi apa lagi itam tangan eh..

Ayam udah siap di masak... Cuba rasa nyaman ka nda?.. Mun nyaman puji la, mun nda nyaman diam2 saja.. hahaha.. Tapi semua ayam nya nyaman la tadi tu, 3 different flavours..

Lets I recall back what happened in the year 2008..

January
- Worked at Jolibee Serusop, where I learned something new.. It's not that easy working at Jollibee.. Lots of hard work, pressure and cannot relax man.. At the end of the month I resigned..
- At the end of the month, A'level result release.. Alhamdulillah I managed to obtain the result that I aim for..

I remember these man that I use to work with at Jolibee.. My big boss at the right end.. I remember their name, si Jon, Rommel (yang kuat marahi aku), Gil, Art, Sir Anert..

February
- I remember this was the busy month doing all the stuff for my application to study at UK..
- Did work attachment at RIPAS and RBAF..

@RIPAS for work attachment.. This is before we went to surgery room..

@RBAF.. Although this attachment not really necessary for my course, but that was a new experience..

Went to UK Exhibition at Empire..

March
- Started working at S.Naco Sdn Bhd as Marketing Executive, where I learnt a new things also.. But working here more towards management, business and accounting..
- Sent 2 of our friends Zahrin & Qasman who went to UNSW, Australia under BSP Scholarship..
- Bought my HP laptop which change my life foremost..

Here is where I used to work for 5 month..

Lots of seminar and conference to attend..

April
- Buzy with my company, I went everywhere in the country, went to Tutong, Belait & Temburong for the expo to represent the company.. That was tiring and I had less time at home..

- Did the MIB Interview for scholarship at MOE..
- Start blogging and the blog 'From Zero To Hero' started to exist..
- First gathering with Chelsea fans in Brunei to watch final UEFA Champions League, Chelsea vs. Man Utd.. This is the first time also Chelsea played in the final of UEFA Champions League but Chelsea lost to Man Utd through penalty kick, that was a nightmare for me and the rest of Chelsea fans..

June
- My offer to study at UK was rejected because I got accepted at UBD.. That was my worst news ever for the year..
- 23 June.. The date that must be remembered..

July
- Resigned from my work at S.Naco Sdn Bhd..
- Had a great fun during UBD Orientation week..

- Started my study at Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) taking Biomedical Science under Institute of Medicine..
- First time ever I donated my blood for the purpose of wanted to know my blood type and I found out it was AB+..

- Attend the 12th ASEAN Conference of Clinical Laboratory Scientists at ICC..
- Joined Kelab Pengacaraan at UBD..
- Transfer to my new bedroom..

Lots of new things went on in the year 2008.. Looking forward for more great things to happen in 2009..

Afternoon @ Muara Beach

This afternoon I spent my time with my ehem2 at Muara beach to feel the sensation of the environment there.. Muara Beach is really a nice place for relaxation, for picnic & for dating, haha.. As my hobby nowadays is taking photos, so I had chance to take a snapshot at Muara Beach..

Don't dare to swim here bcoz the water is salty..

Some people may wonder why this place is empty, because this place is almost the far end of Muara Beach, thats why you can see no people wandering around..

What a disappointing result.. Fulham comeback last minute through a header by Dempsey to level the score 2-2.. It was a kind of relieve after Frank Lampard scored 2nd goal for Chelsea through freekick, but Fulham denied it when the game near to the end.. This mean now Chelsea being left 3 points behind Liverpool, that is a sad news for Chelsea.. Come on Chelsea, do something better for the next boxing day match..

Yesterday, Zahrin invited us to hangout at The Mall to watch movie.. Actually there is no plan to watch the movie ramai-ramai, and all the people were informed last minute, but most of them can make it.. At first si Zahrin ani wanted to watch the Chinese movie IP Man, but we argued it, we want to watch Bedtime Stories.. Bedtime Stories!! Bedtime Stories!! haha.. At last he agreed too.. Had fun yesterday with the rest of friends who joined the movie showtime.. We went there around 11 am till 3 pm..

Look who is in the house?.. Zulzawawi.. He just went back to Brunei from UK last 2 days..

Cuba liat tu bini-bini baju pink a, ikut jua ia begambar, mcm mana bulih atu, kan mengurat si Ajiz kali a, haha.. Syg mukanya inda nampak, blurred..

Santiago Juniors vs. Brunei Perth

Yesterday afternoon, a match between Santiago Juniors and Brunei-Perth took place at Padang Kebajikan.. We badly lost the game by 1-8, haha, that was amongst the heavy lost for our team Santiago Juniors.. What I saw during the game, the team still lack of training, no exact formation & no strategy.. Even me played as a striker also not often received ball from the other players, I'm sure if more ball come to the front, more goals would be created, but most of the ball just struck in the middle.. I did got 2 chance to score my first goal ever for Santiago Junior in the first half but I missed the chance..

Watching Chelsea vs. West Brom @ My Nest Cafe 26 Dec 2008, 10:47 am

Last night was the match between Chelsea and West Bromwich Albion which took place quite early at 9 PM.. Chelsea fans in Brunei had opportunity last night to gather at D' Other Office Cafe & Blistro, Serusop.. That was the first time we gathered there and the place was awesome and comfortable, thanks to the manager of D' Other Office Cafe for offering us a wonderful place to watch Chelsea's match.. AND thanks to Pg. Metussin for the treat last night..

Chelsea won the match last night by 2-0.. Goals scored by Drogba & Lampard.. Chelsea deserved to score more than this by looking at their chances last night, but at least 3 points for Chelsea.. Chelsea still retain the 2nd place at EPL table behind Liverpool..

YES MAN... Playing On The Cinema Right Now..

Last 2 days I went to watch this movie 'YES MAN' with my brother and cousins at Qlap Cineplax..Siuk banar cetanya kalah twilight (marah krg Twilight Fans ni eh, haha).. Aku saran kan kamu untuk meliat movie ani, inda menyasal.. haha.. Mustahil kamu inda ketawa tebahak2 ni meliat ceta ani..

Swimming 24 Dec 2008, 5:23 am

"Swimming is just perfect for people, who have a hard time carrying out weight bearing land based physical activities, as your weight in water is about 1/10 of your usual normal weight on land.. So this mean by swim we can lose our calories at greater rate compare to jogging or doing physical exercise on land.."

Today I had great fun swimming with my friends at Hassanal Bolkiah Swimming Pool at Berakas.. We went there from 11 am until 3 pm.. Swimming is our daily activity during free time especially during holiday.. Those who came just now, si Syukri, Rosazly, Kaeroul Ayub, Sufi, Ben, Fakhri, Syihan & Taqim.. We just basically play Water Polo on the water, 5 vs. 4.. Selalu biasa main futsal but now, it's kind of futsal di dalam aying, difference nya ganya bula nya lain and we play using hands.. the final result our team won 22-16..

Travel To Kota Kinabalu 22 Dec 2008, 7:00 am

Last Saturday, I joined my cousins, aunty & my uncle for a holiday to Kota Kinabalu (KK).. That was the furthest place ever that I go throughout my life and the first time I went to KK also la.. Since my family don't like travelling, thats why I don't have oppurtunity to travel before.. It was a long and tired journey to KK.. We departed from home as early as 6:30 am and approached KK at around 8 pm.. Why late?? haha.. Because ngam on that day, many Bruneians went to KK.. Waiting to passed Pos Kuala Lurah took 3 hours and waiting for a very very long que for a ferry to Lawas took about 2 hours plus..

We did not have an oppurtunity to go for shopping for our first day there, since many shops already closed at night.. We went straight to Sea Park Hotel, where we stayed there..

The next morning, then that was the time for us to go for shopping.. First we went to Centrepoint, then went to One Borneo (the popular place in KK this time.. Hot!!) then went back to Centrepoint since at One Borneo barang nya mahal2.. haha.. But the place is awesome.. I did take quite lot of pictures, around 100+, manakan urang first time ke KK ni mesti la sakai sikit.. haha.. KK really a nice place to go, and I for sure will go there again next year.. Looking at the picture you know already what it is.. Yey.. At last I watch Twilight.. haha.. I just watched it this morning at The Mall Cineplex Gadong with my babeh.. The movie was awesome, no wonder have some people want to watch it many times.. haha.. The synopsis of the story no need to tell la, since everyone watch it already.. I think this 'Twilight' might get highest number of viewers for this year throughout the world, maybe they can beat Harry Potter movie..

Walk And Hunt @ BSB 14 Dec 2008, 8:28 pm

I spent almost 12 hours yesterday at Bandar Seri Begawan to take part in the fourth BSM Walk & Hunt.. I went to BSB as early as 6:30 am in the morning.. Over 800 peoples took part in this competition which were divided into 400 teams.. The town were full of orange colour yesterday, even the tourists were amazed what were we all doing.. That was my first time join the BSM Walk and Hunt and I recommend everyone to join it next year, syok giler..

There were lots of task to do.. In the LEG 1, we were given a picture of a place in Bandar Seri Begawan, where we will be given a clue letter once we reach the place.. We find it until 5 letters in 5 places, than we resembled it to form a word, which spelled HELIX.. After that we were asked to use the code given, to find another words from that word ‘HELIX’ and we were required to buy that thing anywhere in the town.. What I can say this first task quite easy and fun..

But coming to the LEG 2, we were given a question with a clue on it, and then we need to find the words anywhere in the city, where the zone specified.. 15 questions for this LEG, and I found that we just answered 6 of the questions correctly out of 15..

We did not have enough time to do the LEG 3, since we spent most of the time on LEG 2, so most of the question there we left it blank and this LEG was very hard.. There are some more challenges that we did and overall it was challenging..

Chelsea failed to use the chance to be in the top of premier league table after they failed to win over West Ham Utd at Stamford Bridge last night (local time).. A win last night could lead Chelsea to pass over Liverpool to lead the table, since Liverpool were held 2-2 draw with Hull City last Saturday.. West Ham Utd managed by Chelsea's legend, Gianfranco Zola looked dull, but they were the one who opened the score in the first half, and Chelsea were behind.. In the second half, a great combination of 'Drogba-Lampard-Anelka' created a goal, a brilliant finish by Nicolas Anelka.. Currently Anelka is the top scorer of EPL..

EX-PTEB 06/07 Futsal Reunion Day 1 10 Dec 2008, 7:06 am

It's been a long time we left PTEB, and futsal is one of the most favourite and common sport we almost play every week during that time.. Today we all sucessfully gathered most of the active futsal players from ex-PTEB intake 2006/07..

The ex-PTEB 06/07 Reunion Futsal Tournament was held just now at UBD Sports Complex.. 36 ex-Ptebians participated and they were split randomly into 7 teams, the team's name based on top 8 teams in Barclays English Premier League this time.. We played there from 5 pm till 7:30 pm.. The group stage of the tournament was successfully done and to the qualified teams, don't forget to come next wednesday, 17 December 2008, at same venue and same time.. To those teams who disqualified and those who didn't come just now, please do come next week also..

Chelsea's Update

Chelsea at last qualified to the last 16 of UEFA Champions League after they beat CFR Cluj 2-1 at Stamford Bridge last night.. Drogba who started at the bench scored the winning goal for Chelsea in the second half.. Chelsea ranked second at group A below AS Roma, this mean Chelsea will face quite a tougher opponents for the next round.. Lets hope Chelsea will not meet Liverpool, Arsenal, Barcelona or Inter Milan in the second round later.. Go The Blues!!!

Lunch at Excapade Sushi 9 Dec 2008, 2:15 am

Early this morning I suffered from food poisoning, all my sisters and brothers affected too, we don't know where the source of that food poisoning, yang penting yesterday we had 2 separate functions, makan-makan saja.. Early this morning I went to toilet nearly 6 times, nada siuk tido ku eh, sakit banar parut ku, alhamdulillah ani baik tia udah same goes to all my sisters and brothers, inda kuat bacteria nya kali food poisoning nya a.. haha..

Well back to the main headline, today I went for a short trip to Japan.. haha, macam si banar.. In Brunei if we want to feel like we are in Japan, we need to go to a place called 'Excapade Sushi'.. This is one of the popular place in Brunei, every lunch time mesti fullhouse ni.. Just now I went for a lunch there with Nieya, Syukri, Rosazly, Fadil & Marlina.. Thanks Syuk for the treat, he planned this since 2 months ago.. That was my second time eat there.. Well, until now I still don't like to eat sushi, I tried just now, but still can't.. haha..

Hari Raya Aidiladha Celebration 8 Dec 2008, 2:53 am

Salam Aidiladha to all the visitors out there.. Just now, I missed to go to the mosque to perform Sembahyang Sunnat Aidiladha, because I was totally sleepy this morning, inda cukup tido.. Then I woke up around 11, so me and family straight go to umah amit ku just in front of our house to to celebrate Hari Raya Aidiladha and to celebrate one of my cousin son birthday..
