Assalamualaikum.. Ni aku nak share pengalaman ngeri aku.. Benda ni terjadi smalam pada 7 November 2008 kul 11.43pm. Mase tu aku tgh kerja dgn krew TV3 sbb dorang bagi sewa OB (Outside Broadcasting) kat orang Arab sbb dorang buat siaran langsung 24 jam utk channel (Dubai Sport Channel) kat negeri dorang. Mase tu hujan lebat. Krew TV3 dah suruh dorang stop broadcasting n turunkan kren yang digunakan utk angkat receiver ariel utk terima signal dari kamera yang wireless n dari gelombang2 lain yang dorang dapat detect guna spectrum analyzer, tp orang Arab memang keras kepala gler. Dorang xpedulikan nasihat krew TV3. Dorang pinjam 8 set kamera TV3 yang total harga dalam RM10juta. Dorang buat live dari pukul 5 petang smalam sampai 5 petang hari ni. Mase tu aku ada kat blakang van TV3 sbb tgk krew TV3 detect gelombang radio guna spectrum analyzer supaya xde channel lain guna gelombang same, adik aku pun ada kat situ gak. Mase tu jarak aku dgn kren tu dalam 10 - 15 meter, aku n kren tu dipisahkan dgn khemah putih yang macam rumah. Keadaan dah jd xterkawal, hujan lebat, angin kuat, kilat. Last2 kilat tu sambar kren kat blakang aku.. Dgn aku skali kene arus lektrik kilat tu... tibe2 je aku rase cam ada benda meletup kat tgh2 dada aku, pastu tersebar ke tangan n kaki. Gler r sakit, tp skejap je rase camtu.. Aku kene sampai melompat, rase memang sakit n pelik. Rase cam jantung meletup sampai bleh dengar bunyi meletup tu kat dalam kepala.. Pastu tangan n kaki aku jadi terketar2.. Tp kejap je.. Then cam xde ape2 dah.. Orang yang ada kat dalam van tu cakap die nampak bunga api besar kat kren tu.. Yang paling best barang TV3 pun kene iaitu 1 set kamera n bahagian editing terbakar n meletup.. Tp yang kesian channel ESPN yang sewa TMNet sbb dorang dah xleh live langsung sbb banyak barang TMNet terbakar sbb kene kilat. Lepas dorang check balik baru dorang tau mane silap paling besar dorang, iaitu dorang xgroundingkan kren tu. Maknenye arus lektrik dari kilat tu mengalir melalui wayar tu direct ke bumi. Aku terkene juga sbb wayar tu duk dalam air n mase tu aku tgh basah, pakai kasut basah dalam air n pegang body van tu. Walaupun wayar tu ada penebat tp arus still bleh ngalir keluar sbb beza keupayaan kilat tu tinggi gler sampai juta2 volt, so kalau penebat stakat 1cm tebal bleh blah.. Tp maybe aku xkene teruk sbb aku duk jauh, pakai kasut getah. So rintangan die tinggi skit.. Syukur sangat2 aku masih hidup sampai hari ni. Syukur sangat2... xtau camane nak gambarkan... Tp yg prob skarang ni aku rase jantung aku cam kadang2 lain beat die.. ntah la... tp alhamdulillah aku masih hidup.. syukur sangat2... hargai nyawa anda.. jgn sia2kannye... please... peristiwa ngeri yang berlaku akan membuatkan kite menghargai ape yang sblom ni kita perlekehkan...

Wow.. Derma darah? Believe it or not.. Ramai yang takut nak derma darah.. Aku dah tanye ramai kawan aku, ramai yang takut derma darah. Alasan dorang sbb takut jarum besar n takut hilang upaya lepas darah diambil, ada gak yang takut tengok darah. Bagi aku derma darah menyeronokkan dan aktiviti berfaedah di masa lapang. Abang kesayangan aku yang ajar aku derma darah ni, die promote aku mase kat uniten hari tu.. Ramai orang cakap akan pengsan lepas derma darah, tipu r. Aku rileks je, siap bleh berlari lagi, cume rase r kesan die dalam mase 5 jam pertama. Percaya x kalau aku cakap derma darah bleh sihatkan badan? Hehe btol2... Salah satu sbb die ialah derma darah bleh kurangkan tekanan darah dalam badan. N derma darah akan memaksa badan buat sel darah baru yg lagi bagus n efektif dr yang lame. Haha akhir kata marilah same2 kite masukkan darah dalam tabung darah, bukannye mengotorkan jalan dengan darah macam mat rempit yang xbertamadun. Bak kata direktor Ahmad Nispu "Kecik2 xnak mampus, besar2 menyusahkan orang". Renung2 kanlah... :)

Mase tu aku fikir 'gler ke die ni? orang yang xkenal pun die bleh gelak2 kutuk2?'. Pastu aku biar je r, then tibe2 die contact aku nak mintak tolong aku repair tayar basikal die yang pancit, memang klaka r, demi basikal biru buruk yang die pinjam dari Fahmi die sanggup pikul basikal tu naik ke tingkat 1 masuk dalam rumah aku. Then mase tu kitorang just kawan bese je, jarang jumpe. Aku jadi apat dengan die ni mase peristiwa 'Happy Life'. Kitorang jd lebih dari kawan bese sbb mase ni aku dah makin rapat dgn die n derive die sbg my bestfriend dah. Mase tu rasenye die xde kereta lagi kot, kitorang kluar naikkete daus.. (To be continue)
Emmm aku sbenarnye Sony maniac, aku minat sony dari aku form 2 sbb mase tu aku gi rumah kawan ayah aku, then die pasang lagu kat mini hi-fi die, memang bunyi sedap r, mase tu aku xtau lagi pasal bass, treble sume tu, yg aku tau bunyi die memang best. Then mase tu aku kumpul duit aku beli Discman, harga die rm4++, aku dah xingat dah brape, mase tu discman baru je kluar, so mase tu xleh sound, kalau pakai format mp3 kualiti die dah kurang sbb compress nak bagi kecik. N yang paling best discman tu ada radio FM/AM, 2 level MegaBass. Fuhh!! Bergegar telinga aku dgr, Cume mase tu earphone yang die bagi skali tu cam ape ntah, xbest langsung, tp bg aku dah best r sbb first time dgr lagu yang high quality, bese r, mula2 kan. Discman tu ada G-Protection, utk elak lagu dari skip mase shaking, tp buffer die xtahan lame sbb CD Audio kan, so data besar, kene la shortkan mase buffer die. Aku dah test buat jogging, xsampai 13 saat jog lagu dah start skip. Haha last2 aku wat pakai mase xbuat ape2 je. Mase tu CD lagu aku Westlife, Britney Spears, Michael Learns To Rock, Superhit, Aqua vs Vengaboys. Tp tetap xboring walaupun dgr lagu same..
Ni plak pasal kamera digital pertama aku. Aku start minat dgn kamera digital lepas aku baca buku ‘Majalah PC (majalah tu cam xbertamadun, bahasa skema gler)’, mase tu aku tertarik dgn kamera Nikon Coolpix 5400 sbb cara die describe xleh blah, tergoda aku. Then ntah camane aku bleh kumpul duit sampai RM1200, tanpa fikir panjang aku terus gi kedai Sony beli kamera, kamera tu model DSC-P2, 2MP, xde la hebat sgt, tp bagi aku sgt hebat sbb aku dah beli kamera yang aku nak, biar aku komen plak pasal kamera tu. Kamera tu guna lens dari Sony, so gambar die xtajam, ada barrel distortion, ada halo, ada purple fringing, n bile aku guna zoom (tambah aperture) jadi makin xtajam, pastu kamera tu guna imaging sensor bese je, so gambar die agak banyak noise, mainly horizonal noise, kalau guna slow shutter n noise reduction pun xjadi ape, kamera tu agak slow r, maklum la model mula2 sony. Pastu bateri die guna InfoLithium, bateri charge Sony, tahan 85min je. Flash die lambat refresh, dalam 5 – 6 saat. Gambar die pun kurang colour.. Kamera tu rosak lepas aku ambik 6+++ keping gambar. Nak repair mahal sbb alasan Sony Centre kene tukar dgn lens walaupun shutter die tersekat skit je, padahal bleh buka n fix sendiri. Aku xde pilihan lain, so aku test fix sendiri, memang menjadi, dah elok, tp aku dah terputuskan intergrated wire die secara xsengaja mase aku buka lens, so nothing i can do, skarang ni P2 bersemadi dengan aman dalam kotak tersayang...
Barang Sony ke-3 yang aku beli adalah DVD player , harga die RM390, aku siap berhenti taekwondo utk beli DVD player ni sbb aku guna duit utk bayar yuran 5 bulan + my very own saving utk beli DVD player ni. Gler r, aku ni jenis suke ikut teknologi, mase tu DVD baru naik, so aku xleh ketinggalan, yang aku jadi tertarik dgn model ni sbb ada Precision Drive 3, bleh bace disc calar n groove yang xrata, pastu support banyak format, output video die ada composite, s-video n component. Audio plak putput die Digital coaxial, digital optical n bese. Hehe, aku beli DVD ni 15 Mei 2003, skarang ni still ok n good performance, sikit pun xturun. Tray die pun smooth.. Hahaha DVD best!! Tp mahal jugak...
Yang keempat aku beli Sony Ericsson J200i, model tu memang model basic sgt2, tp bunyi polifonik die bleh kejutkan gajah yang tengah hibernate. Xde la special mane pun hp tu, tema pun ada 4 je, hp tu just utk call n msj, xleh lebih2 sbb memory die 2MB je haha sedih2..
Yang kelima Sony Ericsson J300i. Model ni aku beli sbb support MP3, tp ape guna sbb memory ada 12MB je n no memory stick slot. Model ni lasak jugak la, dah brape kali jatuh tp still elok, ramai orang tanye aku ape function spoiler kat hp tu, aku just cakap utk tambah aerodynamic, walaupun hanya ariel. Tp sedihnya hp tu dah terkorban dalam 1 kemalangan ngeri kat KMC (IMTS). Mase tu baru buka sem kat uniten. Aku plak baru balik dgn basikal dari KTM Serdang sbb ambik laptop aku yang baiki kat lowyatt. Aku letak laptop aku dalam beg. So bile sampai uniten aku terserempak kawan2 aku tgh jalan kaki kat Taj Mahal, so ape lagi, aku tunjuk skill r konon2 mountain biker, turun tangga laju nak mampus, banyak tangga aku lepas, tp tangga last tu yang bunuh hp aku. Tangga tu curam sangat smpai tayar belakang basikal aku terangkat. Mase tu aku fikir sama ada nak tahan kepala aku dari terkena lantai atau nak jaga beg yang ada laptop dari terhempas, of course la aku pilih option no 2 sbb aku dah 3 minggu xpakai laptop sbb rosak, xkan la nak tunggu lagi beberapa minggu sbb kene baiki plak. So aku redha je kepala jatuh ke depan dgn tangan pegang beg kat belakang. Boooom!!! Kepala aku terhantuk lantai, gler bengkak cam ada batu kat dahi aku haha, then paha aku sakit, bile aku keluarkan hp dalam poket aku.... he’s dead... huhu sedih2, xterkata, dah la mase tu aku xde duit nak beli hp. Balik je rumah aku tengok paha aku lebam bentuk hp. Paling kurang xde la aku mati haha.. Alhamdulillah...
Yang keenam aku beli discman lagi, Kali ni yang bleh play MP3, bateri die tahan lame, 150 jam. Best sgt3 tau.. G-Protection die jauh lagi power dari yang sblom ni... (I’ll describe it later)
Yang ketujuh aku beli kamera digital kesayangan aku, DSC-S600. Aku beli mase bulan 4 2006 lepas aku kumpul duit kerja kat SIC mase Formula 1, dapat banyak duit siot keje situ. Haha aku beli kamera tu murah je, RM670. Tp yang aku menyesal 1 bulan kemudian harga die jadi RM490, gler rugi duit aku. Kamera tu 6MP, Carl Zeiss Vario Tessar lens, Real Imaging Processor, ISO80 – ISO1000, flash guide no 11, wide angle lens, Super HAD (Hole Acumulated Diode) CCD. Hoho focus time kamera ni dalam keadaan cahaya normal 0.012 saat, lagi laju dari kebanyakan DSLR, n antara yg terlaju dalam dunia consumer n prosumer digital camera.. Only a few can beat that record. Flash die cepat gak refresh, max 4 saat. Noise kamera ni kurang sbb pakai Super HAD CCD n Real Imanging Processor. Kalau nak cakap pasal ketajaman n colour memang power, colour die accurate n xde lens distortion. Disebabkan kamera ni guna cip baru so power consumption die jauh lagi rendah dari P2. Bleh ambik 460 gambar dgn spasang bateri Ni-MH 20500mAH. Dah banyak gambar aku ambik dgn kamera ni termasuk 4000 keping gambar Uniten cup n lain2. Sume artwork aku kat foto album aku ambik guna kamera ni. Kamera ni rosak lepas aku ambik 13000 keping gambar. Skarang ni dah siap repair, dah bayar deposit RM20, tp xbayar lagi Rm280, so xleh ambik lagi r... Huhu i love Sony~

Adapun tanda-tanda kematian mengikut ulamak adalah benar dan ujud cuma amalan dan ketakwaan kita sahaja yang akan dapat membezakan kepekaan kita kepada tanda-tanda ini.Rasulallah SAW diriwayatkan masih mampu memperlihat dan menceritakan kepada keluarga dan sahabat secara lansung akan kesukaran menghadapi sakaratulmaut dari awal hinggalah akhirnya hayat Baginda.Imam Ghazali rahimahullah diriwayatkan memperolehi tanda-tanda ini sehinggakan beliau mampu menyediakan dirinya untuk menghadapi sakaratulmaut secara sendirian. Beliau menyediakan dirinya dengan segala persiapan termasuk mandinya, wuduknya serta kafannya sekali cuma ketika sampai bahagian tubuh dan kepala sahaja beliau telah memanggil abangnya iaitu Imam Ahmad Ibnu Hambal untuk menyambung tugas tersebut. Beliau wafat ketika Imam Ahmad bersedia untuk mengkafankan bahagian mukanya.Adapun riwayat -riwayat ini memperlihatkan kepada kita sesungguhnya Allah SWT tidak pernah berlaku zalim kepada hambanya. Tanda-tanda yang diberikan adalah untuk menjadikan kita umat Islam supaya dapat bertaubat dan bersedia dalam perjalanan menghadap Allah SWT. Walaubagaimanapun semua tanda-tanda ini akan berlaku kepada orang-orang Islam sahaja manakala orang-orang kafir iaitu orang yang menyekutukan Allah nyawa mereka ini akan terus di rentap tanpa sebarang peringatan sesuai dengan kekufuran mereka kepada Allah SWT.Adapun tanda-tanda ini terbahagi kepada beberapa keadaan :
Tanda 100 hari sebelum hari mati.Ini adalah tanda pertama dari Allah SWT kepada hambanya dan hanya akan disedari oleh mereka-mereka yang dikehendakinya. Walaubagaimanapun semua orang Islam akan mendapat tanda ini cuma samada mereka sedar atau tidak sahaja.Tanda ini akan berlaku lazimnya selepas waktu Asar. Seluruh tubuh iaitu dari hujung rambut sehingga ke hujung kaki akan mengalami getaran atau seakan-akan mengigil. Contohnya seperti daging lembu yang baru disembelih dimana jika diperhatikan dengan teliti kita akan mendapati daging tersebut seakan-akan bergetar.Tanda ini rasanya lazat dan bagi mereka sedar dan berdetik di hati bahawa mungkin ini adalah tanda mati maka getaran ini akan berhenti dan hilang setelah kita sedar akan kehadiran tanda ini. Bagi mereka yang tidak diberi kesedaran atau mereka yang hanyut dengan kenikmatan tanpa memikirkan soal kematian , tanda ini akan lenyap begitu sahaja tanpa sebarang munafaat. Bagi yang sedar dengan kehadiran tanda ini maka ini adalah peluang terbaik untuk memunafaatkan masa yang ada untuk mempersiapkan diri dengan amalan dan urusan yang akan dibawa atau ditinggalkan sesudah mati.
Tanda 40 hari sebelum hari matiTanda ini juga akan berlaku sesudah waktu Asar. Bahagian pusat kita akan berdenyut-denyut.Pada ketika ini daun yang tertulis nama kita akan gugur dari pokok yang letaknya di atas Arash Allah SWT.Maka malaikatmaut akan mengambil daun tersebut dan mula membuat persediaannya ke atas kita antaranya ialah ia akan mula mengikuti kita sepanjang masa.Akan terjadi malaikatmaut ini akan memperlihatkan wajahnya sekilas lalu dan jika ini terjadi, mereka yang terpilih ini akan merasakan seakan-akan bingung seketika.Adapun malaikatmaut ini wujudnya cuma seorang tetapi kuasanya untuk mencabut nyawa adalah bersamaan dengan jumlah nyawa yang akan dicabutnya.
Tanda 7 hariAdapun tanda ini akan diberikan hanya kepada mereka yang diuji dengan musibah kesakitan di mana orang sakit yang tidak makan secara tiba-tiba ianya berselera untuk makan.
Tanda 3 hariPada ketika ini akan terasa denyutan di bahagian tengah dahi kita iaitu diantara dahi kanan dan kiri.Jika tanda ini dapat dikesan maka berpuasalah kita selepas itu supaya perut kita tidak mengandungi banyak najis dan ini akan memudahkan urusan orang yang akan memandikan kita nanti.Ketika ini juga mata hitam kita tidak akan bersinar lagi dan bagi orang yang sakit hidungnya akan perlahan-lahan jatuh dan ini dapat dikesan jika kita melihatnya dari bahagian sisi.Telinganya akan layu dimana bahagian hujungnya akan beransur-ansur masuk ke dalam.Telapak kakinya yang terlunjur akan perlahan-lahan jatuh ke depan dan sukar ditegakkan.
Tanda 1 hariAkan berlaku sesudah waktu Asar di mana kita akan merasakan satu denyutan di sebelah belakang iaitu di kawasan ubun-ubun di mana ini menandakan kita tidak akan sempat untuk menemui waktu Asar keesokan harinya.Tanda akhirAkan berlaku keadaan di mana kita akan merasakan satu keadaan sejuk di bahagian pusat dan ianya akan turun ke pinggang dan seterusnya akan naik ke bahagian halkum. Ketika ini hendaklah kita terus mengucap kalimah syahadah dan berdiam diri dan menantikan kedatangan malaikatmaut untuk menjemput kita kembali kepada Allah SWT yang telah menghidupkan kita dan sekarang akan mematikan pula.
PENUTUPSesungguhnya marilah kita bertaqwa dan berdoa kepada Allah SWT semoga kita adalah di antara orang-orang yang yang dipilih oleh Allah yang akan diberi kesedaran untuk peka terhadap tanda-tanda mati ini semoga kita dapat membuat persiapan terakhir dalam usaha memohon keampunan samada dari Allah SWT mahupun dari manusia sendiri dari segala dosa dan urusan hutang piutang kita.Walaubagaimanapun sesuai dengan sifat Allah SWT yang maha berkuasa lagi pemurah lagi maha mengasihani maka diriwatkan bahawa tarikh mati seseorang manusia itu masih boleh diubah dengan amalan doa iaitu samada doa dari kita sendiri ataupun doa dari orang lain. Follow the steps below to increase your max downloads from the same server:
1. Click on the Start Button and type in Regedit. 2. When Registry Editor loads navigate through HKEY_CURRENT_USER, Software, Microsoft, Windows, CurrentVersion and Internet Settings. 3. Right click on MaxConnectionsPerServer and select Modify. Set the decimal value to something greater than 2. 4. Right click on MaxConnectionsPer1_0Server and select Modify. Set the decimal value to something greater than 2. 5. Reboot. Speed up aero (vista glass) by disabling min/max animations
The new animations in Windows Vista look great for the first month or so but then they can become an annoyance since they feel like they increase the amount of time it takes to minimize and maximize a window. If you can live without the minimize and maximize animations that you can bring back the super fast feeling of your windows instantly disappearing and appearing by disabling the min/max animations.
Follow the steps below to make your windows faster:
Click on the Start Menu and key in SystemPropertiesPerformance and hit Enter.
On the Visual Effects tab uncheck Animate windows when minimizing and maximizing.
Click OK.
Speed up external hard drives
Windows Vista operates external hard drives that are connected with USB differently than internal drives. Write caching is disabled so that you can safely remove the drive at almost any time. This is a great feature for USB thumb drives that are frequently inserted and removed from your computer. But if you have a large hard drive that is in an external enclosure that you never disconnect from your computer, write caching is also disabled which can decrease performance.
This tweak is going to show you how to increase the performance of your external hard drives by turning write caching back on as well as activating advanced performance. Let’s get started:
Click on the start button, then right click on Computer and select Manage.
Click on Device Manager on the side menu.
Expand Disk drives and locate your external drive from the list.
Right click on the drive and select Properties.
On the Policies tab, select Optimize for performance.
Next, check Enable write caching on the disk and Enable advanced performance as shown below.
Speed up Start Menu Search
When a users enters text in the search box on the start panel Windows automatically searches the file index as well. The file index includes all of the searchable files on your hard drive and can be quite large. One way to speed up searching through your start menu applications is to narrow the scope of the search so that it does not include hard drive files.
Prevent Start Menu Searches from searching the File index:
1. Open Registry Editor (regedit).
2. Navigate through HKEY_CURRENT_USER, Software, Microsoft, Windows, CurrentVersion, Explorer and finally Advanced.
3. Find and right click on Start_SearchFiles and select Modify.
4. Set the Value to 0.
Restart the Explorer.exe process or just reboot your computer.
Quick aero speed tip
The transparent glass in Windows Vista computer can look very nice. However, on some computers that have underpowered video adapters will see a performance hit when running the transparent glass effect. One way to speed up Windows Vista and still get the benefits of aero, such as flip 3D and taskbar thumbnails, is to disable glass transparency.
Click on the desktop and select Personalize.
Select Windows Color and Appearance.
Uncheck Enable Transparency.

Windows Vista has several new services and features that we do not all need. I have gone through the list of services that are running in Windows Vista and compiled a list of services that you can safely disable. Before I get started, it is necessary to understand how to disable services in Windows Vista. Similar to other version of Windows, you will be using the Services MMC. Follow the steps below to get started with the Services applet.
Click the Start Button, key in services.msc and hit Enter.
To stop and disable a service, just right click on a service and select Properties.
Then, in the properties box change the Startup type to Disabled and hit OK. The next time that you restart your computer the service will no longer be able to start.
Now that you know the basics of disabling a service, I can begin going over the services that I have found that can be disabled to increase your system performance. Below is a list of services that can be disabled. Some provide value added features, so if you use a feature associated with the service consider if it is really worth the slight performance gain compared to the usefulness of the feature.
Apple Mobile Device - Provides the interface to Apple mobile devices. If you don’t have any apple hardware but use iTunes, then disable this service.
Diagnostic Policy Service - The Diagnostic Policy Service enables problem detection, troubleshooting and resolution for Windows components. If this service is stopped, diagnostics will no longer function. If this service is disabled, any services that explicitly depend on it will fail to start.
Diagnostic System Host - The Diagnostic System Host service enables problem detection, troubleshooting and resolution for Windows components. If this service is stopped, some diagnostics will no longer function. If this service is disabled, any services that explicitly depend on it will fail to start.
Base Filtering Engine - The Base Filtering Engine (BFE) is a service that manages firewall and Internet Protocol security (IPsec) policies and implements user mode filtering. Stopping or disabling the BFE service will significantly reduce the security of the system. It will also result in unpredictable behavior in IPsec management and firewall applications.
Certificate Propagation - Propagates certificates from smart cards.
Computer Browser - Maintains an updated list of computers on the network and supplies this list to computers designated as browsers. If this service is stopped, this list will not be updated or maintained. If this service is disabled, any services that explicitly depend on it will fail to start.
Desktop Window Manager Session Manager - Provides Desktop Window Manager startup and maintenance services. Disabling this will kill aero glass.
Function Discovery Provider Host - Host process for Function Discovery providers. Detects devices such as Windows Media Center Extenders on your local network.
Function Discovery Resource Publication - Publishes this computer and resources attached to this computer so they can be discovered over the network. If this service is stopped, network resources will no longer be published and they will not be discovered by other computers on the network.
Group Policy Client - The service is responsible for applying settings configured by administrators for the computer and users through the Group Policy component. If the service is stopped or disabled, the settings will not be applied and applications and components will not be manageable through Group Policy. Any components or applications that depend on the Group Policy component might not be functional if the service is stopped or disabled.
IKE and AuthIP IPsec Keying Modules - The IKEEXT service hosts the Internet Key Exchange (IKE) and Authenticated Internet Protocol (AuthIP) keying modules. These keying modules are used for authentication and key exchange in Internet Protocol security (IPsec). Stopping or disabling the IKEEXT service will disable IKE and AuthIP key exchange with peer computers. IPsec is typically configured to use IKE or AuthIP; therefore, stopping or disabling the IKEEXT service might result in an IPsec failure and might compromise the security of the system. It is strongly recommended that you have the IKEEXT service running.
IP Helper - Provides automatic IPv6 connectivity over an IPv4 network. If this service is stopped, the machine will only have IPv6 connectivity if it is connected to a native IPv6 network.

iPod Service - iPod hardware management services.
IPsec Policy Agent - Internet Protocol security (IPsec) supports network-level peer authentication, data origin authentication, data integrity, data confidentiality (encryption), and replay protection. This service enforces IPsec policies created through the IP Security Policies snap-in or the command-line tool "netsh ipsec". If you stop this service, you may experience network connectivity issues if your policy requires that connections use IPsec. Also,remote management of Windows Firewall is not available when this service is stopped.
Messenger Sharing Folders USN Journal Reader service - Service installed by Messenger to enable sharing scenarios.
Network Location Awareness - Collects and stores configuration information for the network and notifies programs when this information is modified. If this service is stopped, configuration information might be unavailable. If this service is disabled, any services that explicitly depend on it will fail to start.
NMIndexingService – A component of the Nero CD/DVD burning software that is not needed for burning.
Offline Files - The Offline Files service performs maintenance activities on the Offline Files cache, responds to user logon and logoff events, implements the internals of the public API, and dispatches interesting events to those interested in Offline Files activities and changes in cache state.
ReadyBoost - Provides support for improving system performance using ReadyBoost. If you do not use ReadyBoost, disable this.
Tablet PC Input Service - Enables Tablet PC pen and ink functionality.
Telephony - Provides Telephony API (TAPI) support for programs that control telephony devices on the local computer and, through the LAN, on servers that are also running the service.
Terminal Services – Allows users to connect interactively to a remote computer. Remote Desktop and Terminal Server depend on this service. To prevent remote use of this computer, clear the checkboxes on the Remote tab of the System properties control panel item.
Terminal Services Configuration - Terminal Services Configuration service (TSCS) is responsible for all Terminal Services and Remote Desktop related configuration and session maintenance activities that require SYSTEM context. These include per-session temporary folders, TS themes, and TS certificates.

Windows Audio – Manages audio for Windows-based programs. If this service is stopped, audio devices and effects will not function properly. If this service is disabled, any services that explicitly depend on it will fail to start
Windows Audio Endpoint Builder - Manages audio devices for the Windows Audio service. If this service is stopped, audio devices and effects will not function properly. If this service is disabled, any services that explicitly depend on it will fail to start.
Windows Defender - Scan your computer for unwanted software, schedule scans, and get the latest unwanted software definitions.
Windows Error Reporting Service - Allows errors to be reported when programs stop working or responding and allows existing solutions to be delivered. Also allows logs to be generated for diagnostic and repair services. If this service is stopped, error reporting might not work correctly and results of diagnostic services and repairs might not be displayed. This service has always been a favorite for power users to disable. I'm not going to lie, it will give you a slight performance gain if you disable it since less overhead = more resources for your apps. However, Windows Vista is in Beta! Why wouldn't you want Microsoft to hear about the problems you are having. Don't you want them to be aware of issues you are having?
Windows Firewall - Windows Firewall helps protect your computer by preventing unauthorized users from gaining access to your computer through the Internet or a network.
Windows Image Acquisition (WIA) - Provides image acquisition services for scanners and cameras.
Windows Management Instrumentation - Provides a common interface and object model to access management information about operating system, devices, applications and services. If this service is stopped, most Windows-based software will not function properly. If this service is disabled, any services that explicitly depend on it will fail to start. This service is used a lot in the enterprise environment in scripting events on computers. In the home area, there is no use for it and can be disabled. If in the future you ever have any problems with installing programs, try re-enabling this service again since some, not all, tend to use it.
Windows Search - Provides content indexing and property caching for file, email and other content (via extensibility APIs). The service responds to file and email notifications to index modified content. If the service is stopped or disabled, the Explorer will not be able to display virtual folder views of items, and search in the Explorer will fall back to item-by-item slow search.
Windows Time - Maintains date and time synchronization on all clients and servers in the network. If this service is stopped, date and time synchronization will be unavailable. If this service is disabled, any services that explicitly depend on it will fail to start.
Windows Update - Enables the detection, download, and installation of updates for Windows and other programs. If this service is disabled, users of this computer will not be able to use Windows Update or its automatic updating feature, and programs will not be able to use the Windows Update Agent (WUA) API. While many disable this service, I think you are crazy if you do these days.

Stop auto-start applications on startup

There are two ways to stop applications that start when you startup your computer at login. You can use the System Configuration Utility or the new Software Explorer in Windows Defender. Take a look at the two sections to get control over your startup applications and speed up your computer:
Disabling auto-start applications with the System Configuration Utility
Click on the Start Button and key in msconfig and hit Enter.
Click on the Startup tab.
Remove the check next to any items that you do not want to startup and click OK.
Disabling auto-start applications with Windows Defender
Click on the Start Button and type in Windows Defender and hit Enter.
Click on the Tools from the top menu bar.
Click on Software Explorer.
Hit Show for All Users.
Select an application and then click either Remove or Disable.
Tweak Indexing Options for More Performance
The indexing service in Windows Vista is responsible for making those search boxes all over the operating system lightening fast. By default Windows automatically indexes all files in your user profile folders, start menu and any files you have setup for offline access. If you have a lot of files in these locations and the files change often you can be putting a heavy load on the indexing service. For maximum performance when using Windows Vista I recommend disabling indexing for all other locations other than the Start Menu. This will lessen the background work that Windows Vista has to do. It will also slow down your searches of other locations but that is the price you must pay for this performance benefit.
Follow these steps to tweak the indexing locations:
Click on the Start Button and key in Indexing Options and hit Enter. Indexing Options will now load.
Hit the Modify button.
Next, click on Show all locations.
Scroll through the tree-view and uncheck any folders you do not want to be indexed. When you are finished, click OK.
If you want to change advanced indexing settings such as what file types are indexed click on the Advanced button. Otherwise hit Close.
Speed up web browsing with OpenDNS
When you type in a domain name such as wingeek.com in your browser the computer must resolve the friendly name into an IP address of the server to download the web page and supporting files. Windows uses a DNS (domain name system) server to lookup this information. By default, Windows uses your ISP’s DNS server. Depending on your provider, the performance of their DNS resolving server varies. Some large national providers are known to provide unreliable and slow DNS servers.
The performance of the DNS server you are using is one component that affects the speed of your internet browsing. Since each domain name you type in must be resolved into an IP address, the amount of time that takes will delay the loading of any web page. Some users with overloaded ISP DNS servers can see delays in multiple seconds before web pages start to load.
OpenDNS provides free alternative DNS servers that anyone can use with any internet provider. Unlike many national internet providers, OpenDNS’s DNS servers are very fast and reliable. Using OpenDNS servers instead of your ISP servers will help you speed up your internet browsing by cutting down on the delay between resolving a domain name and getting the IP address so your browser can start loading the web page.
Configuring your computer to use OpenDNS servers instead of your ISP’s is a simple change that works in both Windows XP and Windows Vista:
Click on the Start Button and type in ncpa.cpl and hit Enter. In Windows XP Click on the Start Button, click Run and then type in ncpa.cpl
Right click on your active network connection that you use to connect to the Internet and select Properties.
On the Networking / General tab, select Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) (version 4 on Windows Vista) and hit Properties.
On the properties screen, select Use the following DNS server addresses and then type in 208.67.222.222 in the preferred and 208.67.220.220 in the alternate boxes.
Hit OK twice and you are finished.
Bypass open with lookup web service
When opening up a file in windows that does not already have a registered file association you are prompted if you would like to specify what file to use to open the file or if you would like to use a web service. The web service is a great idea for the average computer user but for advanced users, you likely already know what you want to open the file with.
With the help of a registry change you can disable the web service lookup and bypass that screen entirely. Instead you will be taken directly to the list of applications on your computer you can open the file with.

Boost your performance with ReadyBoost
Windows Vista has many new features that are designed to help older computers run Windows Vista better. One of those features and the topic of this tweak is called ReadyBoost. ReadyBoost helps your computer by giving it more high-speed memory. If your computer is running low on RAM then it has to kick a lot of applications out of high-speed physical memory to the paging file on your hard drive. This usually results in a big hit in performance and increased activity on your hard drive. ReadyBoost helps this situation by giving Windows an alternative to having to stick data into the slow paging file on your hard drive. Instead, ReadyBoost uses a USB storage device that is faster than a hard disk. This results in a performance boost because Windows will have a high speed alternative than using the slow paging file on your hard drive.
In order for ReadyBoost to work, it requires a USB storage device that meets minimum performance and space requirements:
The device must be at least 64 MB
The device must be USB 2.0
It has to be able to read at 3.5 MB/s
It has to be able to write at 2.5 MB/s
If you are unsure if your USB storage device meets these requirements, just give it a try anyways. To get started using ReadyBoost, follow these steps:
Plug in USB storage device.
Go to Computer and right click on the removable storage device and select Properties.
If your device is compatible, you will see a ReadyBoost tab. Click on that.
Select Use this device and select the amount of space on it you want to dedicate for the ReadyBoost system file.
Click OK and you are finished.
Start applications on specific CPU and priority
There is a great little utility that has been around for ages in Windows called the start command. This dos command allows you to start any process with advanced settings. In Windows Vista it is perfect if you want to start an application and tell windows to only run it on one CPU and at a high priority level. For example, let's say that you want to start Microsoft Paint and have it run on your second CPU core at Above Normal priority. The command below will accomplish this:
start /affinity 2 /abovenormal mspaint.exe
You can customize the command above and replace the 2 with the processor number (in hex) that you want the processor to run on. You can also adjust the priority level by using one of the flags below:

Enhance SATA disk performance
Do you have a SATA disk drive in your computer? If so, you can squeeze a little more performance out of your hard disk. This speeds up the performance of your hard disk by enhancing write caching. However, if your computer is not connected to a battery backup and you loose power you have a increased risk for data loss or corruption. If you have a laptop your chances are data loss or corruption are dramatically less since your laptop battery will kick on if your power source is lost. Let's get started:
Click on the Start Button and key in Device Manager and hit Enter.
Expand Disk Drives.
Right click on your hard drive and select Properties.
On the Policies tab, check Enable advanced performance.
Hit OK and close Device Manager.
How To: Detect what process is thrashing your hard drive
Every once in a while you notice that your hard drive is working extra hard for what seems like no reason. A background process has taken your hard drive hostage, forcing it to thrash loudly as it struggles to keep up with the high rate of reads and writes. Your computer responds slowly as the process overloads the physical limitations of your drive. What are you to do?
The solution is simple, although a little tricky at times: identify and stop the process that is killing your drive. There are two methods and tools that you can use to identify the process.
Method 1
Click on the Start Button and key in Reliability. Click on the Reliability and Performance Monitor shortcut.
On the main screen click on the Disk section down arrow to see a list of all processes and the files they are writing or reading from your drives.
Click on the Read or Write headings to sort all disk operations to identify which process and file is currently using the disk the most.
Method 2
Visit Microsoft’s Sysinternals web site and download Process Explorer.
After you have started Process Explorer, click on the View menubar item and then Select Columns.
Click on the Process Performance tab and check:
I/O Reads
I/O Read Bytes
I/O Writes
I/O Write Bytes
Hit OK.
You will now see the new columns listed for each process. To identify what process is killing your hard drive, just look for the process with the highest number of Reads or Bytes.
Speed up Flip 3D
Every single Windows Vista presentation and demo I have seen has always included the new Flip 3D, alt+tab replacement. This is a cool feature that really helps you switch between windows when you have a lot open but for some, it can be a choppy experience. If you have a low end graphics card you may experience dropped frames resulting in a choppy animation experience while flipping through your windows. One easy way to make Flip 3D perform much better is to limit the number of windows it draws on your screen.
Follow the steps below to speed up Flip 3D on your computer:
Click on the Start Button, key in regedit and hit Enter.
Navigate through HKEY_CURRENT_USER, Software, Microsoft, Windows and DWM.
Create a new DWORD and call it Max3DWindows.
Set the value of this to something between 4 and 9 depending on the performance of your card. Experiment with the values to find the best value for your hardware.
Restart the DWM interface by running net stop uxsms and net start uxsms at a administrative level command prompt. Alternatively, you can just reboot your computer.

Kill Security Center Notifications
The new Windows Security Center in Windows Vista can be just as annoying as the security centers in previous versions of Windows. I am an advanced of a computer user to know that I do not have anti-virus software installed. I don't need the Windows Security Center to remind me that all the time.
Thankfully there is a new easy way to disable the security center messages.
Click on the Security Center/Windows Security Alerts logo in the system tray.
Click Change the way Security Center alerts me.
Select I do not want notification messages from Security Center.
It is now that easy.
Hack your Windows Experience Index
The results of the Windows Experience Index are stored in an XML file that you can modify to spoof your score. Who wants to show off a 2.1 system? Let’s make that a 9.9 powerhouse.
Navigate to C:\Windows\Performance\WinSAT\DataStore.
Open up the most recent file in that folder. Make sure that your account has write access to that file. If not change the file permissions.
Parse the file looking for the WinSPR entry. These are the items you want to edit. The maximum value you can use is 9.9.
Save the file and you just turned your 2.1 system into a supercomputer.

In Windows Vista there is an alternative that will allow your corporate users to be able to read from USB storage devices but not write any data to them. Effectively turning on USB storage devices for all users but making them read-only. This way users can still read information off of USB storage devices that a third-party vendor may provide data on while preventing the employee from writing any data back to the storage device.
To setup read only USB storage device operation, follow these steps below:

With the news that Sony Ericsson’s new C702 and C902 handsets are to become the new Cyber-shot range, we discover that the ever-popular K-series will now cater for Sony Ericsson’s mid-range market. First to enter the new K-fray is the K660i, a stylish handset with a host of features. The handset is available in three colours – the generic wine-on-black, 3’s exclusive lime-on-white and T-mobile’s blue-on-black. Our review handset happened to be the wine-on-black and very fetching it was. The ‘wine’ refers to the coloured strip that highlights the main control bar above the keypad. The contrasts in colours work really well, although we did find the buttons to be a touch on the fiddly side, particularly the numeric keys. Loyal Sony Ericsson fans may scourge the lack of back button that has become such a mainstay on recent handsets, but the right soft key usually gives you that option, and a quick press of the call end button will return you to the idle screen.
Sony Ericsson K660i - Web-savvy
The manufacturer tells us that the handset will appeal to a younger generation obsessed with social networking sites such as Facebook and MySpace. And to cater for these web-savvy consumers, Sony Ericsson has included a number of key features. The web can be surfed either in portrait or landscape, to gain the best experience, landscape is preferential.When surfing the net the more observant of you may notice that keys 3, 6, 9 and # become illuminated. This is to indicate that they also double up as internet shortcut keys. A quick press of the ‘3’ button will allow you to input text for a Google search, while ‘6’ will bookmark any websites you may frequent. If at anytime during your surf you were wanting to return to the homepage, simply hit the ‘9’ key, and the ‘#’ key lets you pan and zoom web content, which proved particularly useful when we were wanting a closer inspection of a photo or pic. It’s worth noting, however, that in order to utilise the pan and zoom function, you will need to be in ‘smart fit’ mode.
Sony Ericsson K660i - Keep to the point
As a means of providing a PC-like experience on your mobile, the K660i has introduced a mouse pointer, which is controlled via the navigation pad. The pointer can be moved anywhere on the screen, making it easier and faster to click on hyperlinks. Although the experience is not flawless – the pointer jumps rather than glides – it’s still a joy and we anticipate it becoming a regular fixture in future handsets.
The handset also boasts mobile broadband (HSDPA) speeds; a ‘H’ will appear in the top left-hand corner when the handset has a HSDPA connection, and a ‘3G’ wil display when you are browsing on 3G speeds. It’s a simple yet effective touch that keeps the user informed as to why their web experience may appear slower than earlier in the day.
RSS feeds or ‘news tickers’ can be programmed so you receive an alert direct to your screen when selected websites have a new news story. A list of selected web feeds is provided on the homepage. Somewhat interestingly, out of those suggested, including BBC and Google News, only the Sony Ericsson Fun & Games feed, the Sony Ericsson press releases feed and the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) feed worked. The WTA is, incidentally, sponsored by Sony Ericsson.
Sony Ericsson K660i - Google Maps
Although there’s no built-in GPS, navigation enthusiasts will be pleased to hear that the K660i does come with Google Maps. Your position is located by pinpointing the three nearest cells to you, before providing a guestimate to your exact position within 1,700m. On testing the application we found the results to be far more accurate, usually placing us two or three streets away from our actual location. The service also provides traffic updates as well as a host of points of interest.
The K660i is fitted with Sony Ericsson’s download service PlayNow and TrackID that both take advantage of the handset’s ultra-quick internet speeds. There’s been some talk about revamping PlayNow in the light of other service providers such as Nokia’s Music Store and Vodafone’s MusicStation and, without intending to be too harsh on Sony Ericsson, it certainly needs one. The choice of music, ringtones and games are minimal and, at £3 per track or ringtone, PlayNow is unlikely to generate much business. TrackID is a far superior service, which records a few seconds of a song from your built-in radio or an external music source, before using the internet to identify the name of the artist, track and album. It works a treat even for the most obscure songs.
Sony Ericsson K660i - Headphones
There’s no 3.5mm jack port found on the device, so you will have to rely on the provided headphones. This can prove to be a frustrating experience as the leads are absurdly long and can easily get tangled up. However, Sony Ericsson has opted to place the port in the bottom of the handset as opposed to the side – something we have been championing the manufacturer to do for months – which proves to be far more convenient when the handset is in your pocket. The K660i also supports Bluetooth stereo (A2DP) if the wires do prove to be too much of a hindrance.
With a two-megapixel camera, the K660i’s camera abilities are fairly modest. As with the internet, it is also designed to be used horizontally. Although there are a number of shortcut routes through the numeric pad, these are not highlighted as they are with the internet. For this reason, it’s more likely that you will simply revert to changing the white balance or shoot mode through the menu screen rather than trying to identify the correct shortcut key. The lack of flash may cause some snappers to rethink purchasing the K660i.
Sony Ericsson K660i - The verdict
The Sony Ericsson K660i is a devilishly stylish handset that will appeal to the web generation who want a PC-like internet access without having to resort to a more bulky smartphone. Cynics may point to the lack of Wi-Fi as a fundamental oversight for an internet phone, but the mouse-style pointer and shortcut keys are great additions. Sony Ericsson has ensured that though the Cyber-shot range may have moved house, the K-series range looks to continue to produce capable handsets.

User Friendliness Summary
The numeric keys are a little on the fiddly side. The novel mouse pointer only adds to the joyous web experience, while the shortcut keys are all ideally located for a quick press of the thumb.
Feature Set Summary

Kelebihan Surah – Surah dalam Al – Quran
Yasin :
1. Barangsiapa membacanya di pagi hari, pasti hatinya lapang / memperolehi kegembiraan sehingga ke malam hari, dan barangsiapa membacanya di malam hari, pasti lapang hatinya / memperolehi kegembiraan sehingga ke pagi hari. (Kata ulama’ alli hikmah)
2. Barangsiapa membacanya di malam hari diampuni dosanya keesokan harinya. (al – Hadith)

2. Surah ini jika dibacakan pada mayat, maka ringanlah seksanya di alam kubur, dan jika dibacakan pada orang yang sedang menderita sakit, maka berkuranglah sakit yang dideritainya.
3. Dan jika surah ini ditulis pada kertas, lalu dipakai / dibawa oleh ibu / wanita yang akan melahirkan anak, insya Allah akan segera melahirkan anak dengan mudah.
4. Kemudian jika dibaca 40 kali sekali duduk (satu majlias) setiap harinya selama 40 hari, insya Allah dapat membuka dan melapangkan pintu jalan rezekinya.
Al – Mulk / Al – Tabarak
1. Dari Nabi s.a.w : Barangsiapa membaca surah al – Mulk setiap malam, maka ia akan datang ke kubur dengan memenangkan jawapan pertanyaan kubur, dan sebelum (mati)nya dijauhkan dari segala fitnah (disebutkan oleh Imam Qurtubi dalam Tadzkirahnya)
2. Dari Anas bin Malik r.a : Barangsiapa membaca surah as – Sajdah dan al – Mulk di malam hari, adalah seperti orang yang menemui / menepati malam Lailatul Qadr, dalam hal itu seorang waliyullah di zaman Nabi s.a.w bernama Thawus, tidak pernah ponteng membaca surah as – Sajdah dan al – Mulk sepanjang hidupnya (setiap harinya, sekalipun di tengah perjalanan). (al – Hadith)
3. Dari Nabi s.a.w, bahawasanya beliau bersabda : Surah al – Mulk itu dapat memberi syafaat kepada pembacanya sampai diampuni dosanya (HR at – Tirmidzi) Dalam riwayat lain disebutkan sebagai berikut : Orang yang sentiasa membaca surah al – Mulk selalu dilindungi oleh Allah, hingga dimasukkan ke dalam syurgaNya. (al – Hadith)
4. Dari Jabir r.a : Bahawasanya Nabi s.a.w setiap malam tidak akan tidur, sebelum membaca surah (iaitu) : as – Sajdah dan al – Mulk / at – Tabarak (at – Tirmidzi)
Nuh :
1. Barangsiapa dapat membiasakan membaca surah Nuh maka selamat dari kejahatan orang yang menganiaya (orang zalim)
2. Barangsiapa yang dapat membaca setiap hari secara mudawamah (tetap), keinginan atau hajatnya dapat terlaksana dengan mudah, dan tidak akan mati, sebelum diperlihatkan kepadanya tempat istirehatnya di syurga.

Di bawah ini kami akan terangkan cara –cara untuk memilih teman. Pada saat menjelang kematiannya, Al – Qamah memberikan nasihat kepada anaknya, “Wahai anakku, apabila engkau ingin berteman, lihatlah dari belbagai hal.
Pertama, apabila engkau menghulurkan tanganmu, dia akan memberikan sesuatu, kemudian apabila dia melihat engkau berbuat baik, dia menyetujuinya. Dan kalau melihat keburukanmu, dia akan menutupinya. Bertemanlah dengan seseorang apabila engkau meminta sesuatu, maka dia akan memberikannya. Dan apabila engkau diam, dia mulai berbuat, dan apabila engkau ditimpa musibah, dia akan segera membantumu.
Bertemanlah dengan orang yang apabila engkau menjadi pembantunya, maka dia akan menjaga engkau, apabila engkau berteman dengannya, dia akan memuliakan engkau, dan apabila engkau memerlukan pembiayaan dia akan membantumu.
Bertemanlah dengan orang yang suka membenarkan pendapatmu, dan apabila kamu menghadapi suatu permasalahan, dia akan mengangkatmu sebagai pemimpin, dan apabila kamu berdebat mengenai sesuatu, dia akan memenangkan pendapatmu.
Dengan adanya nasihat – nasihat lucu yang dipesankan oleh Al-Qamah kepada anaknya itu, maka Ibnu Aktum menceritakan nasihat ini kepada Khalifah Makmun. Sebaik sahaja Khalifah mendengarnya beliau berkata, “Apa ini?”. Bagaimana mungkin akan dijumpai teman yang seperti itu.”
Kemudian Ibnu Aktum menjelaskannya kepada Khalifah. “Apakah tuan tahu Al-Qamah membuat syarat – syarat yang sulit ini kepada anak – anaknya?.”
“Saya tidak tahu.”, sahut Khalifah. Kemudian Ibnu Aktum berkata, “Beliau bermaksud supaya anaknya tidak berteman dengan sesiapun kerana amat jarang dijumpai orang yang sedemikian sifatnya, sungguh bernasib baik jika dia mendapatinya.”
Saidina Ali r.a. berkata “Teman yang baik ialah orang yang rela menyusahkan dirinya demi kepentinganmu. Ataupun orang yang rela membantumu pada saat – saat genting. Dia mengumpulkan segala sesuatunya untuk kepentinganmu.”
Rasulullah S.A.W bersabda :
“Maksudnya : - Dua orang bersaudara seperti dua tangan, salah satunya rela membantu temannya yang lain.” |
